Shipments sent via USPS during this period may take longer than usual to reach their destination.
What You Should Know
If your order was shipped between August 14th and August 20th via USPS, please allow additional time for delivery.
You will receive tracking updates once your package progresses through the USPS network.

Central Region – Upper Midwest and Ohio Valley- Severe Weather Impacts
Severe weather across the Upper Midwest and Ohio Valley, including Illinois, Indiana and Ohio has resulted in large scale power outages and operational impacts in the region. The Gary, IN Local Processing Center (LPC) in one of the hardest hit areas, experienced a facility wide power outage resulting from storms on August 11, 2026. The US Postal Service is working diligently with local utility providers to restore power; we are evaluating the use of temporary generator power.
In addition to processing impacts, multiple retail and delivery units in the region have also been impacted due to flooding and power outages from these storms. Severe weather is expected to continue in the Upper Midwest and Ohio Valley through Friday August 14. The USPS is proactively notifying industry partners of the potential for broader processing, transportation, and delivery disruptions as severe weather continues through this region. Site specific alerts will be issued as impacts occur and updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
South Suburban, IL Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) will be leveraged as an alternate processing site.
