Current Update on Certification Process
SULU ORGANICS is in the process of relocating and obtaining certification from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for handling food-grade animal fats, as well as acquiring Food Safety Certification from HACCP, FSPCA, and GMP for new facility. Recently, SULU ORGANICS, in conjunction with the USDA, recalled several batches of Beef Tallow and Pork Lard (7 lbs, 4 lbs, and 1.5 lbs) that were sold without the "Benefit of USDA Inspection" between December 2024 and March 2025. Fortunately, all Beef Tallow and Pork Lard products are now available for sale with the Mark of Inspection on our website, ensuring compliance with USDA requirements and FDA approval. A new batch of small containers will arrive on June 16th, 2025 , offering consumers USDA-compliant products. Please note that all 50 lbs Beef Tallow and Pork Lard are exempt from the recall and meet USDA Meat products handling and packaging requirements.
