    • Product Information

      Botanical Name:Butyrospermum Parkii
      CAS Number:91080-23-8
Use: Skin care and soap products
      Product code: SL91472
      Part Used:Nut
      Extraction Method : Cold Pressed
      Physical Appearance: Golden Yellow
      Origin: Africa, Ghana

This  Unrefined Shea butter comes from the nut of the karite shea tree that is indigenous to Africa. Raw, unrefined shea butter contains vitamins and minerals such as vitamins A and E, as well as essential fatty acids. It has a creamy color and a very distinct smell. It has been used for centuries for its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antiaging properties.
Shea butter has the ability to soothe, hydrate and balance your skin. It is used as a moisturizer for dry skin and eczema, as a dry scalp treatment, for chapped lips and to help soften cracked dry skin on heels, elbows and knees. It is important, according to the American Shea Butter Institute, to make sure unrefined shea butter is used. Raw shea butter maintains its therapeutic qualities and will keep your skin moist and supple, whereas refined, processed shea butter loses almost all of its healing properties.

      Additional Information
Our range of organic body butters are all100% natural and have not been blended with cheap fillers like HydrogenatedVegetable Fat  or Mineral Oils and additives like water, alcohol, silicon, coloring agents, synthetic fragrances , paragons and preservatives. We both manufacture and source only the finest quality butters from from highly  revered suppliers from all around the world, with whom we have worked for decades. Our avant-grade in house Quality Control Laboratory  has experienced technicians and stuff to provide a comprehensive product analysis for all our products.

Suggested Use Levels: Creams, Lotions, Balms, Make-Up foundations, Bar Soaps and Hair Conditioners.

Packaging: Our Butters are packaged in airtight plastic containers(jars or pails) and not the retail packaging. We are wholesale supplier , and most of our customers use our butters in their product formulations. Butters can sometimes melt during transit, and these containers help ensure butters from leaking.

Recommended Storage: This butter should be stored in cool temperatures away from direct sunlight and moisture in a airtight container. The butter will become liquid above ambient temperatures, but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality. This butter has a shelf life of 24 months when stored properly
